The aim of Conscious Investor is to help investors find their own quality companies selling at profitable prices. Sometimes it can speed up this process by seeing what others have done – and, more importantly, to know why they have done it. For this reason Conscious Investor has a Watch List and a Model Portfolio. We also provide regular reports.

Watch List The Watch list consists of companies that we would consider investing in but are still a little too expensive. Subscribers are given summary analyses of each of the stocks in the Watch List.

Model Portfolios The Model Portfolios are two portfolios of stocks prepared by Professor John Price that were started in March 2003, one for the USA and one for Australia.

Reports We regularly mail a detailed reports on USA and Australian companies. To make it easier to compare companies, these reports always follow the same format in four parts: Introduction, Understanding the Company, Conscious Investor Quick Analysis and Determining the Price. They contain many screen shots from Conscious Investor.

Frequently the reports contain interviews with senior management or recent statements by them. Also there is an analysis of the economic moat of the company in terms of its type, strength and durability.

Subscribers, particularly the newer ones, like to follow through the steps in the reports by getting the same images and numbers on their computer monitors by using Conscious Investor. This is a both a learning tool and a confirmation that they understand the analysis methods.
